Ram\u00e9n Valves is an international company that develops and manufactures valve solutions for the process industry. Founded in 1945, the company has established a strong position in many different industries, including the pulp and paper industry. One success factor is the ability to develop customized flow solutions, thanks in part to close cooperation between production personnel, calculation engineers and technical sales staff. <\/p>\n\n

Ram\u00e9n Valves also offers a web-based tool for sizing control valves and safety valves, where efficient calculation functions help customers to choose optimal valve solutions.<\/p>\n\n

The company has a production facility in Fagersta. Among other things, ball sector valves are assembled there, which are optimal for industrial processes where precision and wear resistance are crucial. <\/p>\n\n

F\u00e5rbo Manufacturing has been working with Ram\u00e9n Valves for almost a decade. F\u00e5rbo machines parts for ball sector, check, vacuum and control valves, which are then assembled with other parts in the Ram\u00e9n Valves plant to create finished products. <\/p>\n\n

Jonas Talvitie, Purchasing Manager at Ram\u00e9n Valves, believes that it is important to compete with all suppliers on price and delivery precision, as well as several other aspects.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cA great advantage in our cooperation is the physical proximity between our production and F\u00e5rbo Manufacturing. This means that they can easily do pre-batch checks with us and we can provide feedback that allows for immediate adjustments\u201d. <\/p>\n\n

Pettri Riippi, Assembly Manager, continues on the importance of close cooperation \u201cWe have a long history of working with F\u00e5rbo and we feel that both parties are keen to maintain and develop this good relationship – which means, among other things, that we need to ensure good ongoing communication between us\u201d.<\/p>\n\n

Ram\u00e9n Valves’ Production Manager, Martin Strand, adds: “For us, it is important that our partners are proactive and notify any delivery delays or other problems in time. Proactivity, combined with flexibility, is important to us. Sometimes we get larger project orders, which increases the pressure on our suppliers significantly – and such fluctuations have been handled well by F\u00e5rbo “, Martin concludes. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
